Rep. Glenn attends Beaver Township fire safety exercise

The Beaver Township Fire Department received a special training exercise on Sept. 2 for propane fuel emergency responses and state Rep. Gary Glenn dropped in to watch and talk to the local firefighters.

“Meeting with local organizations, government boards and residents to discuss state issues and policies are an important part of the state representative duties,” said Rep. Glenn, R-Larkin Township. “There’s also many events and activities, such as this week’s Beaver Township Fire Department training I was invited to see.

“All of us appreciate the courage and commitment full-time and volunteer firefighters dedicate to keeping our families safe, and it’s these generous contributions of time, equipment and manpower that help prepare our firefighters here in Bay County.”
