MIDLAND DAILY NEWS: Glenn gains business support

Rep. Glenn’s service in Lansing continues to earn the support of business owners representing key segments of Michigan’s economy:

• The Michigan Agri-Business Association political action committee joined two other prominent agricultural groups — Michigan Farm Bureau’s Agri-Pac and the Corn Growers of Michigan PAC — in endorsing Glenn’s reelection campaign. “As a result of your proven commitment to Michigan’s farmers and agribusinesses, and your focus on smart policy to keep growing Michigan agriculture, the MABA’s PAC is pleased to endorse your candidacy,” chairman Bruce Sutherland wrote to Glenn. “I am confident that you will be a strong advocate for Michigan farmers and agribusinesses.”

• Glenn was endorsed by Friends of Housing, the political arm of the Home Builders Association of Michigan, which represents 4,800 home builders statewide, including in Bay and Midland counties. Glenn said support of residential housing construction, a key economic growth indicator, is especially critical since home ownership in the U.S. this month fell to its lowest point in 50 years.

• Glenn has been endorsed by the Michigan Bankers Association political action committee, which represents over 120 banks in Michigan, including in Bay and Midland counties.

• Glenn has also been endorsed by the Michigan Vaccine Freedom political action committee, which is dedicated to protecting vaccine choice.
